About this couch

Hi, I'm Rob. This site is where I write things down for the people I'd tell them to anyway: family, friends, and the occasional passer-by who's welcome to pull up a cushion.

Some of it saves you money: the referral codes and life hacks I've been quietly handing out for years, now with their own little tear-off tabs. Some of it is house stuff, the smart-home experiments (and why our lights don't need someone else's computer to turn on), the outdoors, what we're watching, and the occasional opinion delivered from this exact couch, lamp on.

The honest part

Some links in the money-saver posts are referrals. If you use one, I usually get a small bonus and so do you. I only share things I actually use, and I'll always say what I get out of it. Win-win or it doesn't go up.
